Community Based Mentor Manager

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum four (4) years of combined relevant work experience and/or college-level education in fields related to family services or social work. Working knowledge and understanding of youths from 8 to 15 years of age. Ability to facilitate relationships between families and volunteers. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Intermediate computer skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Conduct telephone inquiries and in-home interviews with families, youth and volunteers.
  2. Assist with planning or executing special events and programs for youth and volunteers.
  3. Assist/guide/direct families, youth and volunteers as needed to assure a successful match.
  4. Make referrals to support agencies.
  5. Process and maintain all match records (hardcopy and database)

CLEARANCE/CREDENTIALING: All mandatory pre-employment screenings required by the agency. Valid Driver's license.

37.5 hours per week

52 weeks per year

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
