QUALIFICATIONS: CDA or six (6) credit hours in Early Childhood Education and minimum three (3) months experience working with preschool-aged children in a professional or practicum setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that all children assigned to class are supervised at all times. Perform regular counts of children assigned to ensure that all children are accounted for.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, learning environment.
• Assist in advancing physical and intellectual competence.
• Assist in supporting social and emotional development and providing positive guidance.
• Assist in establishing positive and productive relationships with families.

CLEARANCE/CREDENTIALING: All mandatory pre-employment screenings required by the program's regulatory and funding bodies.

Pay Rate: $18.00 to $18.95 per hour
