SCHEDULE:  Full-time, weekdays, 7:30am to 3:30pm, 52 weeks per year

LOCATION:  6764 Pickard Drive, Syracuse

STARTING PAY RANGE:  $17.75 to $20.00 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in building maintenance/custodial services.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform repairs on appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.
• Replace flooring, locks, fixtures, and other general items as needed.
• Paint interiors and exteriors when necessary.
• Complete work orders and maintain records of all repairs and replacements.
• Keep common areas, parking lots, and grounds clean and presentable.
• Empty trash, pick up litter, and perform basic landscaping tasks like pulling weeds.
• Perform specialized cleaning using floor machines: buffing, waxing, and vacuuming carpets.
• Assist with snow removal, including snow blowing, plowing, and shoveling.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to address potential problems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment according to schedules and guidelines.
• Replace filters, light bulbs, and batteries.
• Be available for emergency calls, including after-hours situations.
