Full-time, 45 weeks per year, starting between $18.93 and $19.45 per hour.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED plus a Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or equivalent formal education equal to 6 college credits in Early Childhood Education.  Experience working with preschoolers in a group setting plus data entry experience. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Ensure that all children assigned to classroom are supervised at all times. Perform regular counts of children assigned to ensure that all are accounted for, and assist lead teacher in establishing and maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment with the additional assistance of a teacher aide.

2. Assist lead teacher in developing age-appropriate child development activities that advance physical and intellectual competence and support social and emotional development.

3. Assist lead teacher with lesson planning, record keeping, and child observations/evaluations.
