QUALIFICATIONS:  High school diploma/GED and experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Willingness to enroll in our Child Development Associate (CDA) credential program within six months of hire.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Assist the staff in various infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms, as directed by the site supervisor.
• Assist in providing a safe, warm and supportive classroom atmosphere that supports each child's individual growth and development.
• Assist in completing observations of children and some data entry tasks.
• Assist with classroom cleaning duties as needed.
• Serve as a bus monitor/rider as assigned.

CLEARANCE/CREDENTIALING: All mandatory pre-employment screenings required by the program's regulatory and funding bodies.
