QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's degree in Social Work, Human Services or other related field, or similar formal training. At least one year of experience in social work, human services or in a community family service organization - particularly working with low-income families and demonstrating knowledge of agencies and services available to address the needs of families in Onondaga County. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
CLEARANCE/CREDENTIALING: All mandatory pre-employment screenings required by the program's regulatory and funding bodies. Valid driver's license.

Work Environment: Typical classroom and office setting with travel into the field as needed. Must be able to handle the stresses of competing, often simultaneous demands.
SCHEDULE: 20 hours/week, with paid leave for all school district holidays and breaks during the school year, plus additional paid leave. 47 weeks/year, 5-week temporary unpaid layoff each summer with eligibility for up to 4 weeks of unemployment benefits.
LOCATION: 215 Bassett Street, Syracuse
STARTING PAY RANGE: $19.22 to $21.52 per hour, depending on level of education and experience
