New Posting Grants and Planning Manager

The Grants and Planning Manager coordinates the agency’s grant writing, monitoring, and reporting efforts. The Manager also collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to identify, develop, and execute funding opportunities that meet agency and community needs. Additionally, the Manager pursues and releases community-based research. The Manager must display excellent writing, research, and interpersonal skills, which are necessary to submit funding proposals, build agency capacity, ensure grant compliance, produce community-based research, and propose agency/community-based strategies.


New Posting Dietitian, Head Start / Early Head Start program

Assist the Nutrition Coordinator in the planning and administration of quality food service operations, food and nutrition education, and nutritional health follow-up for children birth to five, pregnant women, and their families, in accordance with Head Start Program Performance Standards.


Works with enrolled families of infants or toddlers or preschoolers during weekly home visits, to develop goals based on identified needs, and to provide child development services, counseling, information and training, referrals, and crisis intervention and emergency assistance.


Assist the lead teacher in promoting the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of 4-year-old children in assigned Head Start classroom. Provide and maintain a safe environment for children and ensure that they are appropriately supervised and cared for at all times.


Head Start UPK Teachers provide and maintain a safe, healthy learning environment for 3-year-old children in a classroom setting, to advance their physical, social, emotional and intellectual competence through activities, learning and other programming. Teachers collaborate with families/guardians and other key stakeholders to the ensure the success of enrolled children, working with and leading a Teacher Assistant and Teacher Aide and classroom volunteers.


Working in conjunction with a lead teacher and a teacher assistant, provide a safe and engaging learning environment for all 4-year-old children in assigned classroom, and ensure that they are supervised at all times.


An infant room Early Head Start Teacher Aide will help two co-teachers provide a safe, warm and supportive atmosphere that will help support each child’s individual growth and development as well as develop a continuing positive attitude toward learning, in a classroom with up to eight children under 18 months of age. The Teacher Aide will also help to ensure that all children assigned to class are supervised at all times and will perform regular counts to ensure that all assigned children are accounted for.
