LOCATION: 717 Erie Blvd. West, Syracuse, NY 13204

STARTING ANNUAL SALARY: $62,000 to $65,000

SCHEDULE:  Full-time, 52 weeks per year

QUALIFICATIONS: At least three years of experience in office environment required. Working knowledge of energy conservation techniques, diagnostic equipment associated with completing comprehensive audits, construction materials, and experience with construction/trades industry desirable.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist director in the daily administrative operation of the weatherization program; act in the absence of the director.

- Work closely with the director in overseeing all aspects of the NYSERDA Empower fee-for-service program.

- Establish production goals and monitor commitments under the Contractor Participation Agreement with NYSERDA; maintain fiscal database tracking system.

- Oversee audit production, development of work scopes, and cost estimations.

- Work closely with the procurement/inventory coordinator to ensure that adequate inventory is maintained, in accordance with program standards and NYSERDA and Agency policies.

- Oversee all HCR reporting requirements for monthly consolidated weatherization status reports. Maintain records and generate quarterly reports for funding sources.

- Remain current with all weatherization program requirements.

- Monitor client application intake, to include collection of required documentation and maintenance of client database.

- Responsible for accurate content of all weatherization files presented for certification.

- Be familiar with additional resources available to low income individuals; refer clients to appropriate programs and services, both within and external to the Agency.
