LOCATION:  PEACE, Inc. Department of Energy & Housing Services, 717 Erie Blvd. West, Syracuse, NY 13204

SCHEDULE:  Weekdays 7:30am to 3:30pm

STARTING PAY RANGE:  $18.00 to $20.00 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Business or Administrative certificate or degree or similar formal training. A minimum of three years of business experience working in a professional fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software. Good verbal and written skills and ability to interact with all levels of staff and public. Good organizational skills. Ability to maintain accurate statistical and data logs. Ability to work independently and responsibly with a high level of confidentiality.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Responsible for executing all department program payroll forms.
  2. Responsible for executing time and mileage documentation utilized for department cost accounting.
  3. Prepare all Fee-for-Service contracts and Weatherization Assistance Program Building Owner's Agreements.
  4. Develop an extensive knowledge of all department program policies and procedures.
  5. Develop and maintain working relationships with funding sources and other supporting agencies.
  6. Execute department file maintenance as needed.
  7. Responsible for preparing contracts, invoicing job costs and monitoring receivables as directed.
  8. Maintain department tracking database, and tool and program support logs.
  9. Assist in generating and monitoring daily inventory control sheets.
  10. Share telephone inquiries with other office staff in a pleasant and professional manner, determine needs of callers and visitors and direct them to the appropriate staff.
